EMT dies after being struck at emergency scene
On Saturday, January 26, 2008, Jackson Community Ambulance EMT Cheryl Kiefer was struck by a vehicle and fatally injured while assisting at an accident scene on I-94 in Washtenaw County. Details of the incident as well as funeral arrangements can be found on Huron Valley Ambulance's website; www.hva.org. The Whiteford Township Fire Department would like to extend our depest sympathy to the family and friends of Cheryl Kiefer. The Whiteford Township Fire Department will be taking part in the memorial service and funeral procession on Thursday, January 31st at 11:00am. Appreciation Dinner
On Feb. 2, 2008 the Whiteford Fire Dept. #2 will be holding its annual appreciation dinner at HJ's Prime Cut.

Annual Meeting
On January 13th 2008 the Whiteford Fire Dept. #2 held its annual meeting. This meeting is held to discuss the past years runs and business. Following the meeting, the Whiteford FD active and social members went to Firehouse 47 for steak dinner.
